But no, it really was John McCain who handed someone a piece of paper on 24 on Monday. If I were John McCain, I would’ve insisted on a line, like “That’s against protocol, Jack” or “Lynn wants to see you in his office” or “I’m uploading the schematics to your phone right now.”

Yeah, I wasn’t sure either, but I decided nobody else could be so self-conscious just putting a piece of paper on the desk and stay in the show. If he was some extra who looked like the gentleman from Arizona, they would have cut him out.
They should have had him invade Audrey’s personal space.

Um, how did I miss this?? John McCain is Jesus in my family. We have a lot of respect for anyone who finishes in the last 10% at the Naval Academy. Thank God all those episodes of Bridezilla have yet to force 24 off the DVRd list…
