Hopefully, they’ll all be able to share the coconuts

You might think that a show like Lost would have limited potential for new characters, seeing as how they're all on a remote island somewhere between Australia and LA.

You might be wrong.

Producers have three, count 'em, three new people cast  for next season.

Mitchell, Santoro, Sanchez.

First up, there's Elizabeth Mitchell — who you might remember as the chick Angelina Jolie made out with non-stop in Gia.  Her character's name is Juliet and they say she might be a love interest for Jack.  And thank God for that, because the whole Jack/Kate/Sawyer love triangle is totally getting old.

Next up, spicy Brazilian Rodrigo Santoro, often called Brazil's own Tom Cruise (that moniker probably doesn't have the weight it used to).  Don't know what his deal is, but here's hoping that he can be described in one word: bicurious.

That's doubtful though, because it looks like his love interest is going to be  Nikki, played by Kielie Sanchez.

Any speculation on how these people will fit in?
