The More You Know: Gobble, gobble edition
I need to make pumpkin muffins tonight, because I'm going to be too tired to do them tomorrow.
- My close, personal friend George Takei is going to be joining the cast of Heroes as Hiro's dad.
- Lifetime has ordered 18 half-hour episodes of a show called "Gay, Straight or Taken." It's a lot like that show "Playing It Straight" (that FOX yanked before it could even resolve itself) in that it's truly a test of the single woman's gaydar. The premise is that a woman meets three men that are, you guessed it, gay, straight or taken. If she guesses the straight guy, she wins a vacation with him. If she picks the gay or taken guy, then they win the holiday for themselves and their partners.
- Kelly Ripa and Clay Aiken are having a slap fight.
- MSN will be stream every single episode of Arrested Development online for free as a way to promote its new long-form video player. There are five episodes available now and, starting Dec. 15, they'll be adding 3 episodes per week.
- Winnie Cooper has a new show. Well, Danica McKellar does, but she has about as much of a chance of not being called Winnie Cooper as Mark Paul Gosslear has of not being Zach Morris. The show is on the Lifetime Movie Network (yeesh) and is called Inspector Mom.
