In American Idol General
Yes, it is January. No, I am not wearing a jacket today.
- Megan Mullally's train wreck talk show has been cancelled.
- SNL alum Chris Kattan got engaged to a woman named Sunshine.
- American Idol's Paula Abdul says she's never been drunk a day in her life. Good thing they never asked her about prescription drugs. Speaking of AI, can you believe that Carrie Underwood's record was the third best-selling record of the year? That's disgusting.
- TV Guide makes its picks for the Golden Globes.
- J. J. Abrams is doing a medical drama for HBO.
- Rainn Wilson, Dwight from The Office, has an interesting film in the works.
- Umm… I have a new site.

So in the process of reading about how Chris Kattan isn’t gay (seriously? wow. here I was thinking for years that Kattan was gay. huh.), I found out that they made a Nancy Drew movie, and it looks terrible. Why are they messing with Nancy?
That Rainn Wilson movie sounds intriguing. It’s Bob Odenkirk! (Though that hasn’t always meant movie gold in the past.) Also Rainn Wilson is in that extremely bizarre looking movie, The Last Mimzy. Check out the trailer. Is this a family movie? Creepy M. Night Shamamamama-esque? Is Mimzy a good thing? Are the kids going to kill us all? I have no clue, but I kind of want to see it.
ALSO, on a final Rainn Wilson note: the scene last night where he’s comforting a crying Pam — GENIUS.

holy crap, that scene made me laugh so hard.
you go from loving dwight–”who did this to you? i’ll kill him”
to hating him–thinking he’s giving her his jacket, but no
to loving him again–he gives her his hanky. awwwwww.
LOVE. IT.

And then back to hating him when he assumes she’s “PMSing”
