Tonight on the TiFaux: What Happened to Thursday?

tracysmall.jpgWith the exception of 30 Rock (Tracy and Kenneth go to the Source Awards), Thursday has pretty much taken a hiatus. In the absence of the usual shows to preview, I will use this opportunity to check in with our usual Thursday shows. None of these are actually airing new episodes, so don't get your hopes up.

Ugly Betty: Rebecca Romijn totally rules. The cuteness of Henry and Betty is out of control, to the point where their scenes are pretty much unbearable. Justin, Marc, and Amanda are the type of characters I love on television because they'd probably incinerate me into a pile of goo with a single raised eyebrow in real life.

Grey's Anatomy: I still do not understand the science of how someone can be dead for hours and then suddenly wake up. I understand that she was very, very cold, but, y'all, despite what we've seen in television and movies, people can't actually be cryogenically frozen and reanimated. Brains need blood.

The Office: Karen is awesome; so glad they found someone worthwhile for Jim instead of last season's Katie. I feel like if Karen had been working in Scranton from the beginning, Jim might never have developed his crush on Pam. Also: I am scared of Roy. Run, Jim. Run!

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: There's what looks like a new True Life called I'm Dating Someone Older. Tonight is also the finale of Nashville Star. What? You haven't been watching every single episode of Nashville Star? What kind of a person are you, anyway?

More internet TV

Until now, I hadn't thought much of Collegehumor.com.  In my limited experience with the site, it mostly appeared to be a repository for user-submitted pictures of frat boys drawing penises on the foreheads of sleeping pledges.  However, I've recently come across an interesting feature on the site — The Michael Showalter Showalter.

Michael Showalter is the star of Wet Hot American Summer, former member of The State and an understated, awkward cutie. The show, a take-off on Charlie Rose, has had two interviews so far — one with Comedian of Comedy Zach Galifianakis (below) and another episode with Michael Ian Black.

Here it is, if you're interested.
