In American Idol Buffy News Reality The Wire
Instant comedy.
- First up, if you haven't voted in the first round of the TiFaux Hotness Tournament, what are you waiting for?
- The big surprise on Friday's episode of Jeopardy! was indeed a three-way tie. Take a look at a screencap here.
- Stanley Tucci will have a multi-episode arc on ER. How weird is it that the show that started out with George Clooney and Anthony Edwards would continue on with Stanley Tucci and Uncle Jesse?
- Simon Cowell is creating an American Idol-inspired drama for British television. It's starring Steve Coogan!
- Cheryl Burke is still dating Joey Lawrence's brother and it's no less weird than it ever was.
- Law and Order: Criminal Intent will have an episode featuring an Anna Nicole Smith-type character . The casting? Kristy Swanson as fake Anna and, as God as my witness, David Cross as fake Howard K. Stern.
- The Washington Post profiles the actress who plays Snoop from The Wire.
- Stacy London from What Not To Wear is getting her own talk show on TLC. The title is actually kind of fantastic: "Shut Up! It's Stacy London."
- Obsessive nerds ruin Buffy.
- ABC's bingo show makes me want to die.
- Speaking of shows that make me want to die, Rob and Amber's reality show couldn't be worse. Not that you've seen it. They interview with People about creating something out of nothing.
- Some artists are saying that Heroes stole their work.

The major problem with all that Buffy math is that the math assumes that every time a vampire feeds (they estimate once a month) he creates a new vampire. That’s just false, at least in Buffy’s world. The process of siring a vamp is way more complicated than just feeding, and it doesn’t seem to happen very often, especially among vampires who are choosy about who they’re potentially spending eternity with. The vampires are much more likely to just kill people when they’re eating them. Nice try, mathletes.
Oh, like you ever really doubted I was a huge nerd.
