In General Tournament
Today, Friday the 30th of March, is the last day to vote in the men’s first round and the women’s second round. The winners will be posted this Sunday, so check back to vote for your favorites again. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the tournament:
Tuesday, April 3 at midnight: Voting in the men’s second round ends.
Friday, April 6 at midnight: Voting in the men’s and women’s third round ends.
Tuesday, April 10 at midnight: Voting for the fourth round ends.
Friday, April 13 at midnight: Voting for the fifth round ends.
Friday, April 20 at midnight: Voting for the final round ends!
Our men and women winners will be celebrated on Monday April 23rd.
After the jump, a few of the interesting things I’ve learned so far from this tournament.
- Maura Tierney has many more vocal fans than I would’ve ever thought possible.
- George Clooney does not have as many rabid internet fans as I would’ve suspected. Or, perhaps, Patrick Dempsey has many more rabid internet fans than I would have thought possible (see Maura Tierney, above). This is very upsetting to me for reasons I don’t fully understand. It feels sort of like the 2000 and 2004 elections. How can this be? Is this really the world we’re living in?
- Michael Vartan fans are dirty, dirty cheaters! For shame, you 23,000 imaginary people!
- The only thing more fun than the Spike/Logan debate would be to actually have them fight for it.
- I should’ve picked a more attractive picture of Timothy Olyphant.
What have you learned?

One thing I’ve learned is: Browncoats are a hardy bunch… we’ll keep voting for Kaylee and Mal until our fingers drop off!

You forgot about Zac’z fans. LOL Those comments?
oh, and if Michael’s fans are cheaters so are Tahmoh’s. I noticed they actually started the thing. Then it was just to see the party between those two. eh
You know, Clooner doesn’t have many teenage fans

I posted earlier in the general comments below the brackets but I just realized that I probably should have posted here. I agree with Gina… I noticed the same thing with the Michael/Tahmoh vote… so please be fair with those accusations, okay???

That some people here support my own feelings that we must maintain respect for our celebrities. I am glad someone posted about the negative remarks about Jen Garner and her child before I could.

Courtney Cox is pretty and nice, but I gotta say, I am truly shocked and amazed that she beat out Salma Hayek. My brain just keeps repeating “Really?!!”
