In 30 Rock Food Network MTV The Hills The Office
Book club is better when there is a golden retriever to play with.
- Mindy Kaling, unsung heroine of The Office, talks to the AV Club.
- Prepare yourself, Cristin. The Hills is going to be back for a third season.
- MTV will be reuniting the cast of The Real World: Las Vegas — the show’s worst season ever — for a six-episode series.
- 30 Rock has officially been renewed.
- Multiple choice: The creator of Friends is now working on a reality show about a) psychics; b) carnival workers; c) strippers; d) martial arts professionals.
- CBS tries to air its Bob Barker tributes before he dies.
- Not only is The Black Donnellys cancelled, but NBC isn’t even going to air the last six episodes. They’re going to stream them on NBC.com.
- Battlestar producers talk about keeping Starbuck’s secret.
- A new biography on Julia Child takes a big dump on the old girl’s reputation by saying she was a sexist and a homophobe.
- The Food Network is under fire for its lack of diversity.
- The Tudors on Showtime appears to be a big hit.
- Erika Christenson and David Cross will be in a CBS comedy pilot called I’m in Hell. Cross plays the devil.
golden retriever? If I had know, I would have finished the bloody book.
Thanks for gathering all this info, Dan! My boyfriend was one of 4 people that actually liked The Black Donnellys. I think he just liked it because it was something to watch after 24. I agreed to watch it with him 2 weeks ago and it was so bad I couldn’t take the whole hour. As soon as I read your posting I called him at work to tell him it was cancelled. HAHA!
Okay, quick survey. I have the last 5 episodes of The Hills on DVR (I haven’t actually watched any of them, due to scheduling constraints). Should I do the last few recaps even though the season is over? Or just write it off?
Glad to be the bearer of good news, Whitney.
Cristin — how about one-off colossal final five episode round-up. All meat, no filler.
I agree with Dan. I saw the last 5 minutes of the last episode recently (because it looks so damn pretty) and I want to know what happened to lead up to that point, but there’s no way I’m actually going to watch any more of it.
Wallace is a better book club dog. Even though he bites.
Just sayin’.
Ooh, okay. I think I can do that. Maybe I’ll do one paragraph roundups on the middle 4 and then a full one for the last episode.
