This Weekend on the TiFaux: Driving for Sport and Pleasure, and Because They’ve Kidnapped Your Wife
Some fun stuff this weekend, including the premiere of the new show Drive on Sunday.

Drive, Nathan, drive!
The premise sounds implausible and insane: a bunch of people are forced into a cross-country race for reasons they don’t fully understand. Huh? Let’s face it, it’s probably not going to last long enough for us to get any answers, so I’m going to just enjoy Nathan Fillion’s return to Fox while it’s on, regardless of the quality of the show.
Shia LaBeouf hosts SNL. As a big fan of Holes, this is good news.
Also on Saturday, NBC dumps the remaining unseen Andy Barkers. RIP, Andy Barker, PI. For a few brief weeks, your funny amused a very small portion of the viewing public. For that tiny slice of the Nielsen pie, you will be missed.
And don’t forget there are two more hours of the hypnotic and fascinating Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel and DiscoveryHD on Sunday.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: Sci-Fi Channel is launching a new series, Painkiller Jane, on Friday. I don’t want to be too negative, but I’m not getting a Battlestar Galactica-quality vibe from this one. Then on Saturday, Oxygen is airing Pretty in Pink repeatedly. What about prom, Blaine? What about prom?
