  This one’s good either way. Far superior choice than the men’s final.

  There was some really nasty bashing in the comments for the last round in the women’s tournament, but did people cheat as much here as they did in the men’s competition?

  I have no idea how people do to cheat on these things, but it seems to be very easy. Too easy. Is there really no way of preventing this from happening? It sucks the fun out of the tournament – completely.

  I agree with “dragoned”: Hannygan vs Bell is a far superior choice than Miller vs Welling. I don’t vote for either of those. Go girls!

  Just look at the pictures…both of them. The one that is looking at you like she thinks she’s superior to you…don’t vote for that one.

  Is this really even a contest. While I am a fan of Alyson’s this is not a “girl next door cuteness”contest. It’s a hotness contest. And no offense to Alyson but if you’re voting on just hotness alone and nothing else Kristen is the obvious choice.

  And p.s. that’s one picture of millions and it’s from a season 3 promo where they probably made her look like that. So that fact that she looks superior has nothing to do with anything. The one of Alyson is a candid and I can find tons of candids of Kristen where she looks just a sweet.

  How did Tricia Helfer lose to Claire Danes? How did Paraminder make it to the quarterfinals? And how in the world did Alyson Hannigan, the musical masturbator, defeat JLH, Jennifer Garner, Jenna Fischer, AND Courtney Cox?

  By the way, there’s a reason Kristen is looking at you like she thinks she’s superior to you…

  She actually IS superior to you. Veronica Mars might not have as many rabidly obsessive fans as Buffy did, but it will always objectively be a better show.

  Objectively a better show, sure. I love Veronica Mars. But I do not love Kristen Bell.

  I think it’s pretty clear that while both Kristen and Alyson were on good shows, Kristen is probably the better actress, and DEFINITELY more attractive, regardless of whatever rumors anyone may believe about her “true” feelings about her fans.

  Why does everyone think Alyson is so blameless anyway? They both make a living off of acting (i.e convincing people that they are someone they are not). Unless someone knows one of them personally and meaningfully, assumptions about who they “really” are are irrelevant to this poll. Alyson might secretly hate all the psycho Buffy fans just as much as Kristen, who knows?

  Let me clarify that last comment: Willow got a lot of praise because she was a lesbian. I think it’s great that there was an openly gay character on a popular teen dramedy, but that doesn’t make Alyson anything special simply because she had a socially important role. Quite simply, on Buffy she was a slightly-more-edgy Sabrina, nothing more.

  Having said that, I voted for SMG over KB (because of the “you can put it anywhere” line and the fact that Buffy is pretty much the template for Veronica). But Alyson Hannigan? She’s beat.

  Tifaux, you guys should administer intelligence tests before letting people vote in these polls. While I agree that she’s got pretty red hair, she also has paper thin lips, one of “those” noses, and isn’t well-proportioned for her height (read: flat). KB, on the other hand, might dye her hair blonde along with 75% of the American female population, but at least she’s got a good figure for five-feet-tall, a cute face, and the brightest smile I’ve ever seen.

  Plus, even though KB might hate me since I’m a Veronica Mars fan, at least she doesn’t speak in that hokey abtruse and intentionally mysterious way like AH does, like she’s living in Victorian England or something.

  Alyson Hannigan is THE actress. Anyone who has seen her performance outside of the teen flick genre should know this. She makes you feel her emotions. When she cries, you feel it.

  Also the flat chested comment directed at Alyson amused me. Not only is it low class to judge a girl by her bra size, but the fact that the other actress in question WAS flat chested and magically upped at least one bra size between seasons screams boob job. There I said it. Let the flaming begin.

  I wasn’t judging her worth as a person by her bra size. I believe the title of this contest is the “March Madness Television HOTNESS Tournament.” And it certainly isn’t “low class” to think that a small part of the measure for hotness for females is their breasts. I think it’s fair to say that KB and AH have about equal absolute endowments in that department; however, the former is a petite 5’1″, while the latter is 5’6″. Proportionally, KB isn’t flat, but AH certainly is. I think KB’s magical chest increase is more padding than silicon, but none of us really know for sure.

  i vote for deleting mean-spirited comments from future tournaments. i heart free speech, but flame-throwing is ridiculous. especially as this is an internet poll that means nothing and was just supposed to be all in good fun.

  of course, i’m still bitter that mcdreamy beat out clooney. CLOONEY! sigh.

  Yeah, I’m sorry I said Alyson was a toad, that’s pretty mean-spirited, and I know this is all supposed to be in good fun. There is a perception though that VM fans are elitists about the show and its overall quality compared to the vast wasteland of terrible programming on t.v. nowadays, so the “KB thinks she’s superior” comment got me a little incensed. Don’t get me wrong, I was a big Buffy fan, and I think AH was a part of what made that show so good, but when it comes to overall attractiveness, I think many people have been voting based on their allegiance to Buffy rather than on what they plainly see with their eyes.
