Lots of questions for the universe in today’s post.

First: How on earth could she ever have been eliminated?
Gilmore Girls comes back tonight after a too-long hiatus. I believe the last thing we saw was Mia’s wedding. Right? When Rory let Logan off the hook for his dickish behavior once again? Tonight Logan comes to Stars Hollow. Hasn’t he been there before? Am I imagining that? Anyway, boo to Logan. Yay to new episodes.
New episode of House tonight as well. Last week’s House on a Plane was fun, but I was a little pissed that everyone on the plane wasn’t actually dying. A bit of a fake-out. I also enjoyed Chase’s mad diagnostic skillz. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Chase is the only person other than House (and maybe Cuddy, that one time) to get a last-minute inspiration moment, right? In last week’s episode, and in the one with the girl allergic to light? Side question: Am I the only one who likes Chase the best of the trio?
Just for Cristin: There’s a new PCDP:TSFTND on tonight, too.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: I know I’ve been leaning heavily on Discovery and Discovery Health a lot recently, but here’s one more: Jon & Kate Plus 8, a modern-day Cheaper by the Dozen (minus 4). I mention this today in honor of Tournament Finalist Tom Welling’s stellar performance in the other modern-day Cheaper by the Dozen.

That guy, Diane Sawyer, the other lady, Sam Champion.
Dear Sam Champion,
If we went out on a date, what would we do?
Well, first off, you’d probably have to pick me up from the bus stop in Chinatown. I still have no idea, really, how to get around New York, so I’d be a lost little Urban Outfitters-clad lamb amidst the hubbub of the city.
But after that, perhaps we could put on some Lycra and go rollerblading in Central Park. When we get tired, we can tumble onto the grass and I’ll take some granola bars out of my fanny pack and we can sit around and talk about life. You could tell me what the forecast was for the coming week, discuss Robin Roberts’ “rules to live by” or give me the dish on Mika’s recent appearance on the show.
Or maybe we could just relax in a cozy coffeeshop in the Village (that’s where coffeeshops are, right?) and I can gaze at your astonishing mane. So blonde, so perfect. A platinum palace of perfection. A flaxen fortress of fantastical finesse.
There are a lot of blondes that I’m obsessed with lately. I don’t know why. Please don’t let that diminish your perception of my affection.
Love,
DAN

The frogs I acquired in junior high unexpectedly lived until I was well into college.
