Scarlett Johansson hosts Saturday Night Live again. Is she promoting a movie, or does she have nothing better to do? (And was that too mean?)

Prior to SNL, NBC is running a Heroes marathon. Remind yourself who these people are and get psyched for Monday’s new episode.

On Sunday, Masterpiece Theater is airing the BBC’s Bleak House, which Kyle and I rented a few months ago and can wholeheartedly recommend. It’s dramatic and weird and heartfelt and funny; you’ll like it. And it was nominated for approximately a million Emmys.

Planet Earth on Discovery airs two more episodes on Sunday: Caves and Forests.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: Henry Rollins interviews Ben Stiller, and Ryan Adams performs, tonight on IFC. Also, Wife, Mom, Bounty Hunter premieres on WE. Also on WE, on Saturday, there’s a show called America’s Cutest Puppies. Followed by Adventures in Doggie Day Care. For real. And on Sunday, Dean Cain stars in a made-for-TV movie about those damn kids and their dangerous street racing, or something like that.
