Tonight on the TiFaux: Goodbye, Veronica
Veronica Mars ends its third and final season tonight in a two-hour finale, not that you didn’t already know that. Things have changed a lot since it began in 2004. For a blast from the past, check out this article — I think this is the one that first persuaded me to get on the VMars bandwagon, way back when. Unfortunately at the time I didn’t know a single other (non-internet) person in the world who watched the show. Though it’s sad now, at least I’m not sad alone, ’cause now lots of people I know watch. Yay! I mean, boo. Sad. Last episode. Many tears.
I look forward to finding a show that hooks me so immediately and so forcefully in the future, but shows as well-written and unique and surprising as VM don’t come along very often. We may be waiting a while.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: Though I can say with certainty that I won’t be watching, I suppose it’s worth mentioning that Steven Spielberg’s reality show On the Lot premieres tonight. It’s a movie director’s Project Runway.
