In Jon Stewart Lost News Studio 60 Survivor The Office The Sopranos
TiFaux readers have a standing invitation to come grill food with me in my backyard. Unless you’re a freak.
- A female WWE wrestler has joined the cast of Survivor: China.
- E-Kristin has a spoiler chat including stuff on Dexter, Heroes and Rescue Me.
- The creators of Homestar Runner have rejected the Cartoon Network.
- Rachael Ray, Jon Stewart and Tina Fey will all appear on Sesame Street.
- And NBC has a crush on Jon Stewart.
- In even more suffocating Sopranos news, HBO talked David Chase out of a full 30 seconds of blackness at the end.
- Steve Carrell is sticking with The Office.
- A study indicates that television watching decays moral values. I would have read the article, but I was too busy kissing boys in my meth lab.
- Bret Michaels stars in “The Bachelor: Herp edition.”
- Judd Apatow wants to know why you didn’t watch his TV shows.
- There’s a Quixotic quest to save Studio 60.
- Finally, if you’ve got some time to kill, watch this compilation of scenes detailing the Lost plane crash from a variety of perspectives.
Leaving aside the fact that the actors et al are scattered to the winds someone should tell this Studio 60 lover that THE SET WAS DESTROYED. Just as he did with West Wing, AS had a large sound stage completely redesigned for a set that was, maybe (with the possible exception of Amanda Peet’s knowing grin) the best thing on the show, allowing intimate scenes in the midst of a total environment. I think it was even more successful than the WW set in that the attentive viewer actually knew where he was in the building during the scenes. I, for one, was always overwhelmed and lost in AS’s White House.
Wow. That Studio 60 die-hard is actually kind of a major media guy. You’d think he’d know that demolished sets=no more show. Although the point where he says that “like Boston Legal” it was one of the only politically relevant shows is where he goes completely off the rails. It was supposed to be about a comedy show, man.
It’s lowering to admit that at the age of 26 I’m going to start TiFauxing Sesame Street. I really want to learn more about A’s Anatomy.
Yeah S., this guy is really out to lunch. ‘Politically relevant’ indeed! What show was he watching?
By the way, I agree with David Kelly’s politics but does anyone else find the political references on Boston Legal jarring and out of place?
I have never watched Boston Legal. From the commercials I assumed it was about William Shatner doing his wiggly dance for an hour once a week amidst a flock of blondes and James Spader.
I finally quit watching Boston Legal midway through this season. Even though I probably agree with DK’s politics 100%, I would find myself cringing through every anvilicious plot line and speech.
