In Project Runway Reality Top Chef
Here’s a link to an article in New York Magazine about the fate befalling various Bravo reality stars, specifically Top Chef and Project Runway.
The article is way too long and kind of drifts a little bit, but it has some interesting information pertaining to the way former contestants view the shows.
There’s a lot to be said about this, but all I really have to comment on is that it’s hard for me to believe that the people who sign up for these things are really as naive as they seem to be. They willingly signed away some of their rights in exchange for national exposure. They had a pen and they signed the contracts. End of story.
Hard for me to muster a lot of sympathy, but maybe I’m just a bastard.

Totally agree about the lack of sympathy for these folks. Maybe during the dark, prehistoric days of the first season of the Real World (or even as late as the first season of Survivor), somebody could go on one of these shows thinking that it would be a relatively painless way to try and make some money, or that they wouldn’t be made to look like an idiot, but now? Almost as idiotic as voting for Bush a second time. Oh, right, they did that too.
