In The Office
Dear Dan,
When you watch The Office on the TiFaux, don’t bother fast-forwarding through the theme song. It doesn’t go to a commercial — the show resumes immediately afterward. And then you have to rewind and find your place, eventually taking up twice as much time as the theme song ever would.
Seriously. Every time.

P.S. — Remember to write a letter to the producers to have them update the theme. Ryan the Temp hasn’t looked like that in forever, even before the beardy, yuppified makeover.

So true! Same thing happens to me with On Demand. There is a lag between button pushing and on-screen results which gets me every time.

I do this myself constantly, although you have to admit that TIVO makes it much easier to go back to where you want to be compared with the old VCR (yes, I still use TWO vcrs to supplement the TIVO on those jammed up parts of the schedule like Thursdays at 8).
