From what I hear, the most recent season of 24 was a clunker. Perhaps that’s what drove Kiefer to the bottle. In any case, via The TV Addict, here’s a look at what’s in store for next season — hopefully they’re stepping it up.

Don’t people think that Kiefer was driven to drink by increasingly becoming the poster boy for everything that is wrong with the USA these days? Having grown up in L.A., with loose ties to the ‘industry’, and knowing the mindset of the Sutherland paterfamilias, it’s hard for me to imagine that he finds very sympathetic noise from any of his colleagues, friends, neighbors, parents of children’s friends, ex-wives, former gal pals, pool boys, porsche mechanics et al.
