Having grown up in L.A., with loose ties to the 'industry', and knowing the mindset of the Sutherland paterfamilias, it's hard for me to imagine that he finds very sympathetic noise from any of his colleagues, friends, neighbors, parents of children's friends, ex-wives, former gal pals, pool boys, porsche mechanics et al.
