Tonight on the TiFaux: Not Tom Stoppard

In Pushing Daisies The Office Ugly Betty
This post is late. It’s like I still think I’m on jury duty. Or perhaps I just don’t care because I’m going to a Tom Stoppard play tonight instead of watching TV. Once I saw a Tom Stoppard play that lasted thirteen hours. Who’s jealous now, huh?
Or maybe I’m just mad that there’s no new 30 Rock. Oh sure, you’ve still got The Office with the return of Karen, but it’s just not the same.

Coincidentally, Ugly Betty goes to Broadway tonight, too. Henry and Betty go to Wicked, which has been previously established as Betty’s favorite show. And one of my dad’s, too. My dad also saw the thirteen hour long Tom Stoppard play with me. FULL CIRCLE!
We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: Stream of consciousness thought I could not logically fit in to the rest of the post: Kristin Chenowith was the original Glinda in Wicked. And now isn’t she great in Pushing Daisies? And Raul Esparza was in that one episode of Pushing Daisies — he was nominated for a Tony for the revival of Company. Maybe (dare to dream) he and Kristin will sing a duet one day. Musical theater everywhere! That is all.

I once sat through a regular three-hour Tom Stoppard play with Stoppard sitting next to my dad! He has a huge head. Stoppard, not Dad. Anyway, whoop-whoop to tonight’s “Ugly Betty,” and to me catching up on missed “30 Rock” episodes.
Will the circle be unbroken…

Wouldn’t it be great if Demimonde’s dad was my my old classmate and I ran into Tom Stoppard on Michigan Ave. yesterday? I did sit through The Producers once with Maggie sitting next to me and Mel Brooks immediately behind me.

Actually, you are misremembering the Producers. I got you guys the tickets, but I wasn’t there.

Yea that was awesome. Mel Brooks and Ann Bancroft sitting right behind us! An no Maggie to boot! haha JK.
On a sidenote, because I was hanging out with my GF last night, I watched Ugly Betty (and Grey’s anatomy-GODS DAMN IT), and I didn’t get it. The only other episode I’ve ever seen is the first one. I’m not a huge fan, like I said I don’t get it. But Glinda was cool…
As a result of the Grey’s fiasco I missed the office. I seriously HATE meredith Grey, she is so OBNOXIOUS.

Meredith really is obnoxious! She used to just be pitiful, but now I just want to punch her (“Snapoutofit!”). Her little half sister is cute, though.

I don’t think she’s obnoxious like “hey Meredith stop being so obnoxious and go back to being the pathetic Meredith that we all love to feel sorry for” rather I think she is obnoxious like “I hate her and always have and hate everything about what her character says about and means for America”.

In short: if you watch Grey’s anatomy, the terrorists have won.
