In Dirty Sexy Money Project Runway Pushing Daisies
In today’s episode of What’s Depriving Us of Our Shows Now, meet the Country Music Awards on ABC. No Pushing Daisies or Dirty Sexy Money for us. This couldn’t have been scheduled for a Thursday? Or, you know, not shown at all?
We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming: Only one more week until Project Runway debuts.
The Trib says the writer’s strike may kill Dirty Sexy Money after 10 episodes.
Also, has anyone else noticed that there is a fairly nondescript crew member on BSG named Palladino. Coincidence? I think not.
If the strike lasts long, you’ll be wishing for more phony baloney awards shows to allow the networks to stretch out the airing of the remaining filmed episodes of shows like Pushing Daisies.
In defense of CMA.
I’m not a Country fan so I don’t know what strange thing happened that I caught it for the first time years ago but I was impressed with one difference with it and other music award shows.
Other award shows had one after another speech thanking everyone (especially God) but this show is performances from start to finish and I think other award shows have followed suit and improved.
Great for those of us that like to watch live music even if it is country.
