The Funk: Ben Lee
I’m not going to lie, a lot of the time when I write about music it’s just because I want to write about music. And in this strike era, I don’t have a lot else going on.
However, this new Ben Lee video is totally appropriate for a TV blog. First of all, it’s a music video that you could probably see on MTV. Second of all, the song is called American Television (<—TV!) and the video has all sorts of 80s TV references. Third of all, Ben Lee dated Claire Danes from My So-Called Life for a long time. Fourth of all, and most importantly, the video stars Lee and Tiffani Theissen.
For those of you who don’t know him, Ben Lee is an Australian singer-songwriter who has been around forever. He got his start in a band called Noise Addict when he was just a teenager. He was heralded as a little rock and roll prodigy.
For the record, my favorite song of his is Cigarettes Will Kill You (check out the video here). But, for now, take a look at the new one. [kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/Q5FqQKQOPys" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" /]

I’m just going to say it — Super Tuesday was a snooze. It’s more like Snooze-per Tuesday. That’s catchy, right?
