- Not at all TV related, but if you spend your free time reading about TV then this should interest you: Pathetic Geek Stories has returned!
Most important thing in that Variety article: Pushing Daisies got renewed!
Also: Then there’s “24.” Fox has decided not to try forcing a full season of the Kiefer Sutherland drama at this late date; show won’t return until January. Maybe the year off will allow them to stop sucking — or maybe all the good writers will get jobs on other shows, letting the quality fall even further.
And slim hope for you fans: NBC execs are looking for a way to bring back “FNL.”

I don’t know if I’ve ever been more concerned about a show being renewed than Friday Night Lights. Not even about Veronica Mars. God. This is a little pathetic.
