Are You Ready?

Battlestar Galactica Last Supper

Get ready kids, tonight everyone’s favorite depressing space opera returns! It’s been a long time since we last checked in with our friends on the Battlestar Galactica. Here’s a quick catch-up:

Everything is harder to deal with than you could possibly imagine.

And yes that is Tricia Helfer playing both Jesus some other character who isn’t really in the original painting. Are there any DaVinci Code-style clues in here? Does the space between some people spell out a C, perhaps indicating who the final Cylon is?

I think she’s playing both Jesus and Judas, which is interesting. Of course, none of the apostles are making out with each other in the original, Anders.

Kyle, how are you going to manage for five weeks? Do you have a slingbox? Do we need to send you tapes?

It’ll probably be on Hulu, too.

On second thought, don’t go there, they are only STREAMING the video at noon, not offering for it to be viewed, thus if you were to go now you would miss the beginning. I saw like ten seconds before I turned it off. SPOILER ALERT: Baltar has a beard and a furrowed brow at one point in the episode.

Oh, excellent. Hulu! Everyone watch the episodes a second time on the 18th day.

It does seem like she’s supposed to be Jesus and Judas, but Adama is sitting in the spot where Judas sits in the Da Vinci painting. I guess it doesn’t have to be literal. We also seem to be short one apostle.

The twelfth Cylon is in that empty space between Tigh and Apollo! That’s the Cylon’s cup! OMG.
