I KNEW there had to be a reason you were all talkin bout space the other night! Battlestar Gallactica! Why didn't I realize that sooner?

To all that are interested in such things, I recommend two books:

_Death By Black Hole_ by Neil Degrasse Tyson. Funny, readable essays for the layperson on a bunch of different astronomical topics, all written by the super amazing director of New York's Hayden Planetarium. You may have seen this guy on The Daily Show or the Colbert Report. People Magazine once named him Sexiest Astrophysicist Alive.

_Bad Astronomy_ by Phil Plait. This one has a chapter on astronomical inaccuracies in movies and TV, which is pretty interesting. "Wait, there's no sound in space" is a big one... but Firefly gets that right! Yay Firefly!
