In General
For real — I hadn’t been paying attention either.
In any case, here are the nominees you care about and, in italics, my picks on who should win. I’m not so much interested in who will win. The way I see it, if my pick wins then great — if not, I get to be righteously indignant, which is equally as fun.
Win-win.

Once again, no one from Friday Night Lights or Battlestar is nominated, and I go cry into my Doritos.

Oops — there we go. Damages it is. I haven’t quite finished the first season yet, but I’m completely engrossed. I can’t imagine watching it on a week-by-week basis.
Lost did have a good season and Dexter is always fun, but I’m all about rewarding promising new dramas. Especially ones where the characters curse.

Rainn Wilson : being the only dude from the Office who ever gets nominated :: Michael Richards : winning four times while Jason Alexander won zero times

Hmmm…I somewhat agree with your predictions. The Office is my favorite show and I would love them to win. Most are rooting for that other show. I’ve seen a couple of times, but my devotion is still to my #1 favorite, The Office.
So did you catch the Super Bowl earlier this year? Do you remember that one Tide commercial with the talking stain? What did you think of it? I thought it was pretty funny.
Well….Tide decided to do a contest about it and have people make their own talking stain spoof. A couple have been showing on NBC. Have you seen any of them? There’s was one that showed last night during a rerun of The Office. The spoof is called “The Supermarket”. You gotta watch, it’s funny!
Check out the spoofs here: http://www.tidetogo.com/ads
Which one do you think will win? To find out, the winner’s spoof will be airing during the season 5 premiere of The Office this Thursday, September 25.
I work for Tide and I hope I’m not overstepping any boundaries by telling you about this. I’m just trying to spread the word. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Have a great day!
