I'm another one that's really enjoyed Castle. And I have to agree, the scenes between Nathan and his daughter on the show are absolutely the best thing about it (well, his crazy mom character has her moments). Then again, I would also watch Nathan Fillion read the phone book so... there's that.

I wanted to like Dollhouse more than I actually did like Dollhouse in the beginning, but I feel like it's rewarded me for sticking to it. The latter half of the season has been pretty interesting, and I really hope it gets a second season because of that.

I've only seen the pilot for The Unusuals so far, so I don't have much to say on that. Tamblyn does make a pretty awesome cop, actually. It was enough that I'll give it at least a few more episodes.

I loved Better off Ted! "We want to weaponize pumpkins!" "Then so do I". I don't know, it's got something.

There was one bad episode of Better Off Ted, the others, hilarious. You must have seen the one bad week.

Granted, Im really enjoying Southland and The Unusuals but I would give the edge to Southland.

I can't believe Lie to Me or Harper's Island scored that high. I enjoy LTM but it's nothing special, but HI is just plain bad.

I can't BELIEVE Kings scored so low!! At first I thought you must've forgotten it, because it wasn't in the top 3! It's MUST-SEE! What are these people thinking? Kings is so good. And totally canceled. Already. Booooo.

The ones I'm actually watching are Kings (obvs), Parks & Rec, Dollhouse (enjoyable and frustrating), and Sit Down Shut Up (only once so far, of course). I keep catching five minutes of The Unusuals, I guess because it's on after Lost, but it's not really pulling me in. I have basically no desire to see any of the rest of them, even the Nathan Fillion one, because he deserves better than stock procedural crap.

I think The Unusuals would be different enough for me to get into, even though it is a cop show, so I'm really going to try and watch that sometime soon. I wonder if Amber T. is at all believable as a cop. It seems like just yesterday she was crying over a pair of jeans.

One day, Nathan Fillion is going to be in something that I'm going to want to watch, and lo, it will be good. I doubt that Castle is that property.

I have enjoyed both The Unusuals and Castle. Mar, I think The Unusuals would be up your quirky alley, even though the Harrold Perrineau/Adam Goldberg scenes are just a tad too quirky for me. And Castle....Nathan Fillion is amazing. I would happily watch him play Madden 09 for, like, a year. While I agree, the cases are not that compelling, he has good chemistry with the actress playing his cop partner, and fantastic scenes with the actress playing his daughter.
