Excellent! See, I took a really bad feminist point on the “rape” In season 3: I didn’t think it was one. Janet was kind of always up for it. Even when she was shagging Johnny. God, I miss Johnny. I like them now that they’re back to banging but without the, like, talking. Because Tolan and Leary never give Janet believable lines. They just make her crazy.

amen. i keep hoping she’ll do something crazy like off herself or move to morocco. i actually sort of hate all the women on this show. although the episode with janet and tommy at the b&b made me like her more.

Yes, I agree that she’s had her moments, and that was one of them. But it doesn’t outweigh the baby voices and the cheerleader outfit and the screaming, for me.

oh no! i kind of like sheila, and how big of a mess she is. i thought all of her screeching insanity really paid off in a recent episode, when she was interviewed by the French documentarian. her monologue at the end, where she talks about wishing Tommy had died and not Jimmy, is so beautiful and shows just how wounded she is. poor sheila, she’s trying.
