I’d like to extend a big TiFaux “Happy Birthday” to Candace Cameron-Bure, who turns the big three-oh. I have to admit, Mrs. Cameron-Bure is lookin’ pretty hot these days in a Stepford kind of way. Like Jessica Simpson and Faith Hill were locked in a room, got in a fight about scripture and this was the creature that emerged.

So, we all know that Kirk Cameron’s been a wacko for a while now, right? He did all those “Left Behind” movies, he’s on the scene with the proselytizing all over town, blah, blah.

But, it looks like little sis doesn’t want to be left out of that action. Just go to her Web site and, after taking a look at her supa-blonde, bedimpled family, click on “Are you a good person?”. Then take her intense and scary survey about the Ten Commandments.

The question DJ Tanner asks is if you are good enough into heaven? For the record, the answer in my case is no, as I went 2 for 10 on the Ten Commandments survey.

For the record, my favorite segment of the test is the second commandment wherein Ms. Cameron-Bure and company ask about idolatry. “Who is God to you? Is he only a God of love and mercy who would never judge anyone and never cast anyone into Hell? If that’s your God, then you’re right. You God couldn’t cast anyone into Hell because he doesn’t exist. He’s a figment of your imagination… You may call it your ‘personal belief,’ but God calls it idolatry.”

Yikes!

More news on the Tina Fey pilot in the New York Times today, and some hope that her show and Aaron Sorkin’s show could coexist on NBC’s schedule. If there can be three “CSIs,” why not a couple backstage shows? It could start a trend. Maybe backstage shows will be the cut-open-dead-people-and-poke-at-their-organs shows of the next few years.
